Rugged Serenity
While exploring the southwest, I stumbled upon the breathtaking Mesa Arch, which I affectionately dubbed “Rugged Serenity”. As I made my way through various art galleries in Moab, UT, I sought out unique wall art landscapes. I have always enjoyed admiring the diverse interpretations of different artists. It was during this search that I discovered a stunning depiction of Mesa Arch, captured within the stunning Canyonlands National Park.
Rugged Serenity – Moab, UT
Moab is a city in eastern Utah, and It’s a gateway to massive red rock formations in Arches National Park. Southwest Canyonlands National Park features mesas, buttes carved by the Green and Colorado Rivers, and Native American rock art. It’s a crazy world to find Dinosaurs tracks at Bull Canyon Overlook and Copper Ridge sites. Amazingly the Sedona landscape has taken over as the most popular place to mountain bike. The town is a popular base for mountain bikers who ride the extensive network of trails. The Slickrock Trail is for off-roaders who come for the annual Moab Jeep Safari. A yearly event hosted by the Red Rock 4-Wheelers off-road club, where 4-wheelers begin challenging the rough terrain of the backcountry in the Moab, Utah area.
Canyonlands
Canyonlands invites you to explore a wilderness of countless canyons and fantastically formed buttes like the landscape painting I created here. The Colorado River and its tributaries carved them. Rivers divide the park into four districts: Island in the Sky, The Needles, The Maze, and the Rivers. These areas share a primitive painted desert atmosphere, but each offers different opportunities for sightseeing and adventure. This image and other Sedona Landscape paintings are available as a large canvas print or on metal.
